Best Superhero Movie Posters
We rank the best posters for movies based on comic books!
10. Justice League
This poster finally unites the members of the Justice League, but unfortunately it's missing Superman. It makes sense story-wise but it's a bit disappointing not seeing him alongside the other heroes. However, the rest of the team looks great here as they looks towards their destiny with justice dawning in the background. Now we just have to hope the movie lives up to the poster.
9. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2
This psychedellic poster for the second Guardians of the Galaxy movie perfectly sums up the zaniness of the film. The out-there nature of the movie is put on display here and every major character is included. Still it doesn't feel crowded or out of place in any way. While it may be a bit busy, it's colorful, fun, funny, and spectacular just like the movie represents.
8. Iron Man 3
Here we have a poster which uses simplicity to get across the point of the movie: Iron Man is in trouble. Robert Downey Jr. is acting his butt off in this image and that shows you what a pro he is. The actor is Tony Stark and it shows here. The dark color palette and desperation in his face tell the story of this unique movie.
Simple is sometimes better as we see here in the first ever Spider-Man movie poster in which our hero climbs the wall of a skyscraper as only he can. That signature suit and the reflection in the windows help sell it and the perspective can give you vertigo. The colors also help let us know this is a hopeful superhero movie for the ages.
6. The Rocketeer
The artwork here is fantastic. It's a throwback to classic adventures movies of the 1940s. The World War II setting is clearly seen and the character's iconic look is highlighted brilliantly.
5. The Dark Knight
This dark tale is shown with the genius design. The Bat-symbol burned into the side of a building is unforgettable. The tagline at the top also catches your eye without taking away from the lead character and layout. It's a crazy tagline too.
4. Captain America: The First Avenger
A somber Captain America will avenge those lives lost in World War II in this teaser poster for the Marvel superhero's first film. His classic suit and shield are on full display here as he looks down ready to bring the fight to the enemy.
The opening scene of Watchmen may be the best part of the movie which is why it was used as the first poster and the scary tagline is unmissable.
Logan's poster is a throwback to classic movie westerns because it is a western set in a dystopian future.
The first superhero movie poster is still the greatest with a simple design and the best tagline ever.
