DC Films Sets Two New Dates For Mystery Movies
Two new DCEU films have release dates scheduled!
Two New DCEU Movies Are Coming In 2020!
Ahead of Comic-Con, Warner Bros. and DC Films have set two new release dates for upcoming movies. There's no word on which films these will be, but the studio now has a movie set to arrive in theaters on February 14, 2020 and another on June 5, 2020. Already, WB and DC have two movies set to be released in that year with Cyborg set for April 3, 2020 and Green Lantern Corps arriving on July 24, 2020. This could mean those movies are getting moved, but it also could indicate that the studio is ready to release more than two DC Comics-based movies per year. Shazam is a possibility as that project is in the works with a rumored production start date of February 2018 and Dwayne Johnson attached to star as the villain Black Adam. However, other possibilities are Justice League Dark, The Flash, The Batman, Gotham City Sirens, Black Adam, Deadshot, Nightwing, or Batgirl. It could also mean one of the sequels could be set for release like Man of Steel 2, Suicide Squad 2, Justice League 2, or Wonder Woman 2. We'll probably get an official announcement at Comic-Con, so stay tuned for more information.
Justice League is directed by Zack Snyder, written by Chris Terrio, and stars Ben Affleck, Gal Gadot, Jason Momoa, Ezra Miller, Ray Fisher, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Diane Lane, Jeremy Irons, J.K. Simmons, Willem Dafoe, Amber Heard, Connie Nielsen, Robin Wright, Billy Crudup, Kiersey Clemons, Joe Morton, Jesse Eisenberg, and Ciaran Hinds. Batman and Wonder Woman recruit meta-humans to help them defend the earth from an imminent alien invasion. The film is set to arrive in land in theaters on November 17.
