Aquaman Cast Unveiled In New Comic-Con Image!

In a surprisingly revealing image, Den of Geek has unveiled our first look at many of the previously unseen characters in DC Comics' upcoming Aquaman movie. We've already had the pleasure of checking out Jason Momoa's Arthur Curry, Amber Heard's Mera, Nicole Kidman's Queen Atlanna, and Patrick Wilson's Orm. However, now we get to see Orm in his signature, shockingly comic-book-accurate helmet, and beside him, our hero's other enemy Black Manta in full tactical gear and an equally similar-to-the-source-material helmet. Also, we see our first full look at Willem Dafoe as Nuidis Vulko who looks ready for war with his sword drawn, and Dolph Lundgren's King Nereus who's in full armor. There's also a look at the odd underwater beings such as The Trench, some kind of crab creatures, and a giant quid, as well as some Atlantean guards, the lighthouse Arthur grew up in, and The Fisherman King played by Djimon Hounsou. This movie looks like a blast, so lookout for the trailer coming this weekend at San Diego Comic-Con!

Aquaman is directed by James Wan from a script by Will Beall and from a story by Wan and Geoff Johns. The film stars Jason Momoa, Amber Heard, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Patrick Wilson, Djimon Hounsou, Dolph Lundgren, Willem Dafoe, Temuera Morrison, and Nicole Kidman. From Warner Bros. Pictures and director James Wan comes an action-packed adventure that spans the vast, visually breathtaking underwater world of the seven seas, "Aquaman", starring Jason Momoa in the title role. The film reveals the origin story of half-human, half-Atlantean Arthur Curry and takes him on the journey of his lifetime — one that will not only force him to face who he really is, but to discover if he is worthy of who he was born to be … a king. The movie is in theaters on December 21.
