Rampage Reveals New Poster & Release Date!
The video game movies of the past have not done well at the box office. However, The Rock is looking to change that with his upcoming film Rampage. The movie is based on the arcade game in which giant animals wreck havoc in a mega-metropolis. The film has now released a new poster showing off all of the movie's monsters including Lizzy the Lizard, Ralph the Wolf, and George the Gorilla. Also, the studio has decided to move the film up one week from it's original April 20th release date to April 13th to avoid competition with Marvel's Avengers: Infinity War which will dominate the box office in it's initial release. Check out the trailer and poster below.
Primatologist Davis Okoye shares an unshakable bond with George, an extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla that's been in his care since birth. When a rogue genetic experiment goes wrong, it causes George, a wolf and a reptile to grow to a monstrous size. As the mutated beasts embark on a path of destruction, Okoye teams up with a discredited genetic engineer and the military to secure an antidote and prevent a global catastrophe. The movie also stars Oscar nominee Naomie Harris, Malin Akerman, Jake Lacy, Joe Manganiello, and Jeffrey Dean Morgan; as well as P.J. Byrne, Marley Shelton, Breanne Hill, Jack Quaid, Matt Gerald, Jason Liles, Demetrius Grosse, Will Yun Lee. Peyton directs from a screenplay by Ryan Engle and Carlton Cuse & Ryan J.
