This new trailer give us a better idfea of what this series will be. We'll get a good look at Frank Castle's backstory which is exciting for fans of the character. Jon Bernthal looks even better here than he was in Daredevil season two which is where the character first showed up in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Punisher first appeared in the pages of The Amazing Spider-Man #129 in February of 1974, created by Gerry Conway, John Romita Sr., and Ross Andru. He's a vigilante who uses deadly force to stop criminals, putting him at odds with many heroes in New York City, especially Daredevil and Spider-Man. He's already clashed with Daredevil whom he calls "Red" but it'd be a blast to see him team-up with Tom Holland's Peter Parker in the MCU.

Marvel's The Punisher is executive produced by showrunner Steve Lightfoot, Jim Chory, and Jeph Loeb who also serves as Marvel’s Head of Television. The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix. The cast also features Ebon Moss-Bachrach, Deborah Ann Woll, Ben Barnes, Amber Rose Revah, Michael Nathanson, Jaime Ray Newman, Jason R Moore, Daniel Webber, and Paul Schulze. Known throughout New York City as The Punisher, Frank Castle must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone. After exacting revenge on those responsible for the death of his wife and children, Frank Castle uncovers a conspiracy that runs far deeper than New York’s criminal underworld. Now known throughout the city as The Punisher, he must discover the truth about injustices that affect more than his family alone. The series premieres globally November 17, only on Netflix.
