Stopping by The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, Golden Globe-winner Oscar Isaac spoke with the host about working with the late Carrie Fisher on the most recent Star Wars film, The Last Jedi. Isaac plays member of the Resistance and X-Wing pilot Poe Dameron in the new movies of the Star Wars saga. He says he has a lot more scenes with General Leia in this film and recounts a funny story about the first day on set. Oscar has also starred in such films as The Nativity Story, Robin Hood, Sucker Punch, The Bourne Legacy, Inside Llewyn Daivs, Ex Machina, and X-Men: Apocalypse.
Star Wars: The Last Jedi is written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Adam Driver, Gwendoline Christie, Domhnall Gleeson, Lupita Nyong'o, Andy Serkis, Benicio Del Toro, Laura Dern, Carrie Fisher, and Mark Hamill. An official plot synopsis has yet to be released but the story seems to follow Rey as she trains in the ways of the Force with Luke Skywalker, Kylo Ren as he learns about the dark side from Supreme Leader Snoke, and Poe, Finn, and the rest of the Resistance continuing their fight against the First Order. The movie is set to be released in theaters on December 15.
