The Punisher Confirmed For The Defenders Netflix Series

The new teaser confirms the vigilante is coming back!

Watch The New Teaser Below!

This new teaser is perhaps the best one for The Defenders yet. Teaming up all four of Marvel's street-level heroes on Netflix is a great idea that we've been building towards for over three years now. Stan Lee's voiceover is excellent as he takes a cab ride through New York City talking about Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Iron Fist. Be sure to stay until the final second of the trailer where another character is revealed to return. This will feel like an Avengers-style team up where the heroes fight each other then put aside their differences to join forces again a greater evil. The cast is fantastic, the fight choreography looks awesome, and the storyline is sure to please and shock fans.

Marvel’s The Defenders is executive produced by Marco Ramirez and Doug Petrie along with Marvel TV’s Jeph Loeb.  Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, and Danny Rand/Iron Fist are a quartet of singular heroes with one common goal – to save New York City. This is the story of four solitary figures, burdened with their own personal challenges, who realize they just might be stronger when teamed together. The series also stars Charlie Cox, Krysten Ritter, Mike Colter, and Finn Jones, with Academy Award-nominated actress Sigourney Weaver as the antagonist, simply named Alexandra, and features the return of Elodie Yung as Elektra, Scott Glenn as Stick, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson, Carrie-Anne Moss as Jeri Hogarth, Rachael Taylor as Trish Walker, Eka Darville as Malcolm Ducasse, with Simone Missick as Misty Knight and Jessica Henwick as Colleen Wing. The series is produced by Marvel Television in association with ABC Studios for Netflix and premieres globally on Netflix on August 18, 2017 at 12:01am PT.
